5 3 1 Template - I'm a guy who hates doing math! I've been running a 5/3/1 now for about 6 months now. It is structured for one cycle (3 weeks + deload) of each lift, after which point you can update the training maxes for the next cycle. Part of the reason why i love 5/3/1 methodology is the fact that i find the workouts to be very short (under an hour). Part of the reason why i love 5/3/1 methodology is the fact that i find the workouts to be very short (under an hour). This just adds a progression for the assistance lifts similar to the main lifts, but essentially utilizing 10/8/5 instead of 5/3/1 with front squats, sldls, incline bench, and close grip bench.
