Vacuum Hose Sizes Chart

Vacuum Hose Sizes Chart - I think the two sizes i need are 3.0 and 5.5mm id but i really have no idea how much to buy. Beyond the 3.5mm id hose, everything else will be location and duty specific. But for your desmog diagram,. It's time to replace all of the vacuum hoses on my '86 fj60. It will show each circuit on a separate diagram, which will make it easier to confirm that hoses are connected properly. Most auto parts stores will try to sell you sae hose, don't buy it, it's just a little to big to fit tight thereby causing vacuum leaks. Just as an fyi the small vacuum hoses used in the engine bay are metric in size, not sae.

Im going to order vacuum lines but keep finding conflicting sizes when i search.i want to replace all of them while i have the engine out. Just as an fyi the small vacuum hoses used in the engine bay are metric in size, not sae. These part numbers replace every single vacuum and evap line under the hood. It's time to replace all of the vacuum hoses on my '86 fj60.

I'm seeing a fatter vacuum line off the egr and the manifold where it meets the throttlebody. I have seen 3mm id and 3.5mm as well as both 5mm and 6mm for bigger lines. The size you need iirr is 3.5 mm, buy at least 15 feet in bulk, then cut to fit. I'm told there's a third. I just finished replacing all of the small vacuum lines on my 1991 fj80. I think the hoses were replaced at one point with cheap hose (maybe inch hose?) its very brittle and leaves black marks everywhere.

Anyone have the size and/or part number for that? Just as an fyi the small vacuum hoses used in the engine bay are metric in size, not sae. I'm seeing a fatter vacuum line off the egr and the manifold where it meets the throttlebody. These lines come in 600mm (@ 23 in.) segments, since it was $1.71 per piece, it was @ $0.85 per foot. The ends have expanded while the center has shrunk, i get about a 2mm id difference from center to end.

I'm Told There's A Third.

While i could take the median of my measurement and order that size i wanted to be as sure as possible. Anyone have the size and/or part number for that? Does anybody know how many feet (approximately) i need to buy to complete the job? I have seen 3mm id and 3.5mm as well as both 5mm and 6mm for bigger lines.

These Are The Part Numbers You Need.

I'd hate to get 9/10ths of the way done and then have to go back to the parts store. I think the hoses were replaced at one point with cheap hose (maybe inch hose?) its very brittle and leaves black marks everywhere. That is the vacuum diagram for an fj60. Do a search and either purchase or download a copy of the emissions manual. If you have a 2fe (fj62 head on 2f block), then what you need is the vacuum diagram for the fj62.

But for your desmog diagram,. The reason for this thread was that if you look at the original routing of the distributor vacuum line, it basically runs into port #5 along with a t connection from the vcv #2.
