All you need is a size 1 owner circle hook #5114 (octopus style) and either nose or tail hook the crawlers and fly line the worm without out a weight on 6 to 8 lbs mono line.

Soft plastic worm hooks are too big for live night crawlers.

Why not just go barb less on the back, come to think of it on long baits like 110s, that might be a good ethical move, occasionally they eat the thing from the back pefectly and get a treble down deep. 4 use 1/0 weedless wacky hook, 5& 6 2/0 weedless wacky hook. When you set the hook, the sinker and the front of the lure clear a path for the hook point to escape a bass' mouth without embedding.
